Derek Ramsay is once again back in primetime as the newest superhero in TV5’s primetime series Kidlat.
Derek plays Voltaire, a regular man who struggles to manage his superpowers and his personal life. As a young boy, Voltaire was struck by lightning, giving him the ability to dispense electricity through his hands. Although he considers his strange ability a curse at first, circumstances lead him to be the hero he is destined to be.
Kidlat also star Christopher de Leon, Nadine Samonte, Ritz Azul, Assunta de Rossi, Baron Geisler, Wendell Ramos and Jay Manalo.
To welcome the new year with a bang, the Extra Challenge team has prepared a very special Extra Pasabog episode. This episode was shot in Tumana, Marikina last December 4. Challengers include Kapuso host Luane Dy, Mr. Manhunt International June Macasaet, comedienne Patricia Ismael, and magician Bearwin Meiley.
Macasaet, 28, bested 52 other international contestants at the 2012 Manhunt International pageant night held in Bangkok, Thailand. Before his first international stint, the Filipino commercial and ramp model finished 1st runner-up at this year's local Century Tuna Superbods competition.
A native of San Jose, Batangas, Macasaet finished his studies at Centro Escolar University in Manila. Now set for an international modeling career when he flies to Singapore early next year, the 6'1"-tall model expressed his gratitude to Filipinos who rallied behind him during his bid in Manhunt International.
For American internet celebrity Travis Kraft, cyberspace is not enough to let the whole world know about his love for Filipinos and the Philippines. He's a former model and actor but his popularity soared more after his youtube video about how to cook chicken adobo went viral. Since then, it almost became his mission to create videos that showcase the colorful culture and the beauty of the Philippines. From exploring Binondo, to our love for basketball, boxing, and cockfights. After all the videos that he made, he is now faced with the challenge to live in one of the most impoverished areas in Manila. For an entire day, he will live in a floating house, trade with Manila Bay boatmen and participate in a silent auction at the Navotas Fish Port.

The action packed reality show Extra Challenge is hosted by primetime royalties Richard Gutierrez and Marian Rivera together with Boobay. In this episode, celebrities Mikael Daez, JC Tiuseco, LJ Reyes, and Love Anover brave a series of tough challenges in the infamous Pasig River which includes jumping from the Guadalupe bridge to an approaching barge like that scene from The Bourne Supremacy.

It is based on the fictional character Green Arrow, a costumed crime-fighter who appears in comic books published by DC Comics. It premiered in North America on The CW on October 10, 2012, with international broadcasting to take place in late 2012.
The series follows billionaire playboy Oliver Queen, portrayed by Stephen Amell, who, after five years of being stranded on an uncharted island, returns home to fight crime and corruption as a secret vigilante whose weapon of choice is a bow and arrows.

John Spainhour formerly worked in the military and currently does modeling in the Philippines. He won the Century Tuna Superbods 2012 held in Boracay on April 14, 2012.
Magdalena: Anghel sa Putikan (Sinful Angel) is a Filipino drama series created by RJ Nuevas and developed by Agnes Gagelonia-Uligan, directed by Gina Alajar and produced by GMA Network. It banners Bela Padilla in the title role, with Dion Ignacio as her leading man, Ryan Eigenmann and Pauleen Luna as the main antagonists. The series premiered on October 8, 2012 on GMA Afternoon Prime block replacing Faithfully and October 10, 2012 worldwide via GMA Pinoy TV.
The series is also part of the networks set of shows for the last quarter of 2012, along with Sana Ay Ikaw Na Nga and Yesterday's Bride.
Based on Nuevas' comics novel (published in Filipino Komiks), Kukulayan Ko Ang Langit, the series follows the ill-fated life story of Lena, a provincial lass who has been conned by a rich-looking Manila boy into joining him to the city of her mother’s fantasy. She sets foot on the big, bad city and is quickly transformed into prostitute.
The story revolves around Lena, a simple barrio girl who works hard to support her family. Aside from her pure heart, men are also smitten by Lena’s natural beauty. But Lena doesn't have eyes for any of her admirers. She is already in love with her childhood friend Abel, whom she also considers as her first love. However, Lena's mother Luding is against her relationship with Abel. Luding wants Lena to marry Baron, a wealthy guy from Manila. Luding and her husband Dolpo think that Lena’s marriage to Baron will save them from their dire living conditions. Luding hatches a plan to destroy Lena and Abel's relationship. Left with no choice but to obey her parents' will, Lena dumps Abel. Baron brings Lena to Manila with the promise to marry her.
But Lena's nightmares are far from over because Baron just uses her for his illegal business. He turns her into an escort. Lena's world is shattered and her dream of a better life crumbles. Despite her desire to escape Baron, Lena is not ready to face Abel and her family.
Pancho Magno plays the role of Jet, an aspiring model who will help Lena to get back on her feet but will fall in love with her.
Temptation of Wife - Dennis Trillo - October 29, November 7, 2012
Temptation of Wife is a Filipino drama series developed by Richard Cruz, which premiered on GMA Network on October 29, 2012 in GMA Telebabad block, replacing Luna Blanca, and October 31, 2012 worldwide via GMA Pinoy TV. The series is a remake of 2008 South Korean hit drama series of the same title. It banners Marian Rivera, Dennis Trillo, Glaiza de Castro and Rafael Rosell as the four main characters of the series.
Angeline and Heidi share a deep bond of friendship ever since Heidi was orphaned and was taken under the custody of Angeline's parents, Abner and Minda. Angeline grows up responsible and compassionate while Heidi, fueled by ambition and envy, secretly detests Angeline and always feels inferior next to her.
Many boys are attracted to Angeline but she falls in love with Marcel. It doesn't take long before Angeline becomes pregnant and gives up on her dreams of becoming a makeup artist in order to marry Marcel.
Although their marriage is void of happiness, Angeline tries to be an excellent wife to her husband, and takes good care of her in-laws, Romeo and Stella. Simon (Glenn de Luna) arrives in Manila from Quezon. He hopes to pick up a cellphone from Paolo (Brad Laurente), who works as a fence for cellphone snatchers. The two meet up, but Paolo has more nefarious things in mind. He drugs Simon and steals all his stuff, including a valuable necklace. Enraged and desperate, Simon plots his revenge. He hides his identity and shows up at Paolo's doorstep, pretending to be a potential boarder.
Shirtless Paulo Avelino joins Vice Ganda and Jhong Hilario on Showtime. The Queen and King of "Sampol," Vice Ganda and Jhong Hilario on Thursday spoofed ABS-CBN's upcoming series "A Beautiful Affair" during the 3rd anniversary of "It's Showtime." The "Unkabogable" duo also mimicked scenes from hit film "Soltera," which originally starred Diether Ocampo and Maricel Soriano, who is a guest judge of the show. Ganda and Hilario also showed off their singing and dancing prowess with special guest, "Walang Hanggan" star Paulo Avelino.
Coffee Prince - Benjamin Alves - Aljur Abrenica - October 17, 2012
Coffee Prince is a Filipino romantic comedy series developed by Des Garbes Severino, which premiered on GMA Network on October 8, 2012 replacing One True Love on GMA Telebabad block and October 9, 2012 worldwide via GMA Pinoy TV. The series is based on Sun-mi Lee's novel and MBC's 2007 hit Korean television series, The 1st Shop of Coffee Prince. It headlines Kris Bernal and Aljur Abrenica as the lead characters and under the direction of Ricky Davao.
The series is also part of the networks set of shows for the last quarter of 2012, along with Aso ni San Roque, Mariposa and Temptation of Wife.
The series chronicles the comedic lives and loves of the main characters, Andy and Arthur. Andy is a hardworking young woman who supports her mother and sister after the death of their father. To sustain their daily needs, she earns a living as a tricycle driver. Arthur, on the other hand, is a happy go lucky and wealthy bachelor whose family owns the biggest coffee factory in the country. His grandmother constantly pressures him to settle down but Arthur is not yet ready to tie the knot.
To avoid the dates arranged by his domineering granny, Arthur hires Andy to pretend to be his gay lover. He doesn't know that Andy is just pretending to be a guy to keep her job in Arthur's coffee shop. Desperate to pay off her family’s debt, Andy is left with no choice but to agree with Arthur's plan and to continue with her charade.
Complications arise when Andy starts to fall in love with Arthur. He is likewise unable to control his feelings for Andy and he starts questioning his sexuality.
Martin Del Rosario plays his first leading man role as Sev in Precious Hearts Romances Presents: Pintada.
The story is about a May-December affair between a teacher named Lysa and a student named Sev.

Rodjun Cruz was a member of the now defunct all-male dancing group Anim-E. The group, previously named Anime—in reference to the Tagalog word "anim" or "six" -- originally consisted six members namely: Rayver Cruz, John Wayne Sace, Emman Abeleda, Sergio Garcia, Mico Aytona, and Mhyco Aquino. Rodjun along with Miko Samson joined the original members in 2005.
In 2006, He was cast as Jigo in the ABS-CBN TV series Calla Lily.
After a year, Cruz along with 14 other celebrity contestants joined the second season of U Can Dance Version 2, where he met and started dating fellow Star Magic talent Dianne Medina. In 2008, Rodjun Cruz was cast as Jake Perez in the teen drama Lipgloss.
Rodjun Cruz left Lipgloss after three seasons in 2009. He had minor roles in the ABS-CBN shows Tayong Dalawa and May Bukas Pa. He also made guest appearances in Maynila and Midnight DJ.
He played Calvin in Magkaribal in 2010. He was also cast as Joaquin Buenaventura in Juanita Banana. The same year, he left ASAP XV and joined, the show's rival, P.O.5 in TV5.
What's Your Number? is a 2011 romantic comedy film starring Anna Faris and Chris Evans. It is based on Karyn Bosnak's book 20 Times a Lady. The film was released on September 30, 2011 to generally negative reception. On her way home after losing her job, Ally Darling comes across a magazine article entitled "What's Your Number?", which asks the reader to calculate how many people she has slept with. Realizing that her number is double the average, Ally decides to track down all of her ex-boyfriends in the hope that one of them will have grown into the man she wants to marry, and therefore the number of men she has slept with will never have to increase. With the help of her womanizing neighbor Colin Shea, she manages to find all of her exes, but things do not quite work out the way she had expected.
